Custom-made Cutting Tools

I make knives and other cutting tools completely from scratch and to meet your design.  I can work from detailed drawings or from very generalized ideas, whichever you prefer.  I do make some knives that look similar to one another, but each is completely one of a kind by the time it's finished.

I do all of my own work, with no parts of the finished piece being sent out for any type of work by anyone else.

Please take a look around and let me know what you think.  Any feedback is appreciated.  If you see something you like that's not available, drop a line to me and we'll work out the details, agree on a design, and then get it in your hands!

My Maker's mark

Here are a couple of the latest liner-locks...  They have either .063" or .071" titanium liners, S35VN blade steel, and stainless hardware.  The folder with natural canvas micarta scales also features a damascus backspacer and the folder with lignum vitae scales has a solid stainless steel backspacer.

Another of my liner-locks.  It has a S35VN blade, .071" thick titanium liners, and black G10 for the handles.  It also has a jade G11 backspacer and a low-rider pocket clip that's attached for right-hand, tip-up, carry.

This is a liner-lock folder that has a blade made from CPM S35VN (stainless).  The handles are Bocote and the bolsters are black canvas micarta.  The knife also has .090 thick Titanium liners, STOUT :)

Here's another liner-lock folder with CPM S35VN (stainless) for the blades.  The handles are made from blue G-10 and it also has .090" thick titanium liners.

This is a recent order that was just completed.  It's over 17 inches long overall and the blade is slightly over 11 inches long.  The blade is forged W2 tool steel and has a nice active hamon (not visible in this picture, though).  The guard and ferrule are made from 416 stainless steel and copper, and the handle is stabilized redwood burl.

Large Modern Tanto

This is an in-progress photo of a modern-styled tanto.  The blade steel is 1075 and it turned out to be a beast!  Customer requested filework on the spine, see following picture.
